DVA’s Bodhisattvas of Compassion for All Beings
With a gift to Dharma Voices for Animals of $1,000 or more you become a member of DVA’s leadership giving society, Bodhisattvas of Compassion for All Beings and acknowledged as being among Dharma Voices for Animals’ greatest champions. Sangha members receive advance notification of news and updates from the organization, as well as invitations to special events.
As the only international Buddhist Animal Rights/Advocacy organization in the world, we are uniquely positioned to use the relationships and contacts we have developed in the Buddhist world during the past six years to make our voice on behalf of animals even stronger in Buddhist countries, in Buddhist communities, and at Buddhist centers. But, we need your financial support to make it happen. Make your gift to DVA now so that you are a part of saving countless, precious lives.
DVA’s Sri Lanka Matching Gift Campaign
Our Sri Lanka Project is now underway! Our Project Director, prominent attorney and animal activist Keshinie Bandaranaike, is working closely with our Social Media Organizer, the Venerable Bibiladeniye Mahanama Thero, 1) to reach our goal of one million Facebook “likes,” 2) to make personal contact with all Sri Lankans by offering countless in person public talks, workshops, and forums throughout this island nation, 3) to reach all Sri Lankans through television programming and advertising, and special events such as our October 26, 2017 Asian Buddhist Animal Rights Conference and our May 5, 2018 vegan ice cream social where we gave out thousands of frozen soy cones.
In order to fund our Sri Lanka Project we need your support. We are within $16,000 of our fundraising goal of $78,000 to further our message of compassion for ALL beings. Hitting this target will raise an additional $16,000 with our dollar-for-dollar match and will insure that the first year of DVA’s Sri Lanka Project is fully funded.
